This ‘Bourne’ knitted jumper kit includes a printed pattern and enough wool to make the cream/brown version of the Bourne Jumper that you see here.
The cream wool is by Romney Marsh Wool in Lambs Wool DK and the brown/black wool is by West Yorkshire Spinners Jacobs DK

The jumper is a copy of one made and worn by Hilary Bourne who was one of the founders of of the museum in 1985, alongside her sister Joanna. The original jumper resides in the collection of Ditchling Museum of Art + Craft and is currently on show in the exhibition Double Weave: Bourne and Allen’s Modernist Textiles (16 Sept 2023 – 14 April 2024)
Museum Knits aka Geraldine Warner, creates patterns inspired by or related to knitwear in museum collections and heritage organisations. A percentage of all sales goes to the museums and organisations who inspire the patterns.
