Ditchling museum’s refurbishment and rebirth was entirely led by Ditchling folk who wanted to make sure the village’s remarkable history in the arts and crafts is properly expressed. We are proud of the way it has been revitalised and managed but want to make sure that this heritage is continually protected and enhanced. The museum is worth cherishing, and it needs the continual support, both financial and practically, of all of us.

Dr Mike Burr, Trustee 2002-2010, Ditchling resident and leader of the museum development team.
