Currently all research visits are temporarily suspended, and will resume in February 2022. Please get in touch then and we will do our best to help with your request.
We welcome researchers and browsers to the dedicated research space in the museum, currently located in The Parlour, with a view onto our flourishing natural dye garden.
In this quiet space visitors are invited to find out more about the artists and craftspeople whose work we have in the collection through the books on open access.
Many of the books have been generously gifted by individuals who have supported the museum over many years.
The books in the Parlour represent a small selection of our research resources. We also have more artists’ biographies and monographs, journals, rare and private press books and correspondence as well as objects from the collection.
We are working on making more of our Collection digitally accessible, and will link from this page once it is live.
Access to all these resources can be arranged through a research visit. To arrange this please email our Collection and Learning Assistant, Joleene New, firstname.lastname@example.org.
