Introduction to Sussex Terracotta Tile Making with Adele Scantlebury

Tickets include materials and refreshments Adele will bring two mobile tile-making benches so you can have a go at ‘throwing’ locally dug clay into moulds to make traditional Sussex tiles. She will also provide some pre-made tiles, oxides and clay slips so that you can explore decoration – whether a simple image on a single tile or a pattern that links across more than one tile.
