Writing with Colour: Art as Inspiration with Ashley Hickson-Lovence
Sat 10 September £75
10:30 am - 4:30 pm
Using the Skinner’s Hall murals as muses, you will begin to craft creative responses that bring the art to life. This one-day workshop for writers of all levels will explore the ways to make your writing feel fresh, immersive and compelling.
Interactive exercises, reading and guidance will foster your confidence to be bold and dynamic with form and subject. You’ll be encouraged to push yourself to respond to the artwork in new and creative ways, as you enjoy a day of discussion, contemplation, planning and writing. The goal is for you to come away from the day with a renewed and intensified sense of possibility in your work, and a greater understanding of how to create exciting narratives using the murals as the source stimulus.
Tickets include lunch & refreshments.
