Day 1: Decorative Owls – framed artwork to proudly hang on your wall
We will be printing textures, using expressive mark making on Styrofoam and then making further decorative marks printing with natural materials like leaves and feathers.
You will then combine all your patterns to assemble a wonderful large owl artwork. There will be plenty of scope to further embellish, with inks, and lots of other fun things.
Day 2: Beautiful Books – nature prints & marbling
We will start off making some beautiful hand marbled papers which will be the covers of your book.
Then we will create lots of wildlife themed prints in a fold out book, using mono-printing and Styrofoam printing techniques which gives lots of scope for creating beautiful textures. When these are drying we will make the book covers adding your own special title on the marbled paper cover. You will have a very special book to take home full of your artwork created in the day.
Day 3: Fabulous Fungi – fabric printmaking onto a cotton tote bag
Start by designing and making your owns print blocks to then print your wonderful designs onto eco cotton tote bags. Printing with fabric inks. Using mushrooms and toadstools as our starting theme, but other elements can be added too!
Bring home your own wonderful eco bag, for books, foraging and woodland walks!
