Tadek Beutlich was a true innovator, pushing the boundaries of textile art and printmaking with his experimental techniques. On and Off the Loom brings together three experts to explore his remarkable career and affirm his place as one of the world’s leading textile artists.

Join us for an evening of discussion with: print specialist, and custodiam of Beutlich’s archive Emma Mason, Ditchling Museum of Art + Craft Director and CEO Steph Fuller and PhD student Magdelena Wichtowska, who has researched Beutlich’s work.

Coinciding with Tadek Beutlich: On and Off the Loom, a second edition of Tadek Beutlich: Innovations in Textile & Print has been published, featuring chapters by each of our speakers. Emma Mason will also present never-before-seen pieces of Beutlich’s work, offering a rare glimpse into his artistic practice.

This is a unique opportunity to delve into Beutlich’s life, influences, and artistic legacy, guided by those who have studied his work in depth.
