Find Your Good Space at DMAC
Ditchling Museum of Art + Craft are delighted to announce its partnership with Good Space, a unique platform supporting creative, inclusive and meaningful volunteering opportunities in arts, heritage, and sports organisations.
Founded by three leading Sussex organisations: Brighton Dome & Brighton Festival, Heads On, and The Sussex Archaeological Society, Good Space aims to inspire everyone to volunteer; particularly those for whom participation has often been a barrier.
Volunteering can have a hugely positive impact on people’s mental health, wellbeing and community engagement. It’s a great way to gain valuable skills and experiences that can enhance your CV and improve your employability, and it’s a brilliant opportunity to meet like-minded people that share similar interests, whilst having plenty of fun in the process.
In a world full of exciting job opportunities, sometimes it can be a little overwhelming wondering where to start. So whether you’re taking the first steps on your career path, testing out the waters with a new hobby, or you’re simply looking to expand your horizons and experiences with a change of scenery, volunteering is the perfect place to begin.
To find out more about each of the thirteen partner organisations involved, head over to the Good Space website, where you can discover the latest volunteering opportunities on offer and learn how you can get involved. If you’d like to speak to one of the team for more information, send an email to hello@goodspace.org.uk and they’ll get straight back to you.
You can also keep an eye across the Good Space LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram channels for updates, new roles, articles and more.
