Free Gifts this Museum Shop Sunday
We’re delighted to be taking part in the sixth edition of Museum Shop Sunday, an international campaign to highlight the vital role of retail in helping arts, cultural and heritage venues to survive and thrive.
On Sunday 27 November 2022, visit our shop or make a purchase online, and not only will you be supporting the museum’s important work, but if you spend over £20 you will also receive a free gift!
More than 1400 museum shops across 22 countries will offer inspired shopping at museums and cultural institutions during Museum Shop Sunday.
Instigated by the Association of Cultural Enterprises, Museum Shop Sunday falls between Black Friday and Cyber Monday, and helps provide a boost to heritage venues who find themselves competing with major players such as Amazon in the lead up to Christmas.
Museum Shop Sunday gives everyone the opportunity to support our region’s heritage and local artists, all whilst finding unique gifts for your loved ones this Christmas!
Year round, all purchases made in Ditchling Museum of Art + Craft’s shop support the preservation and protection of the museum’s renowned, Accredited collection. What’s more, the shop features pieces from countless local artists and craftspeople, so every purchase supports a local creative business.
This year, we’re running our best offer yet! Purchases over £20 in store and online (excluding postage) will receive a free gift, and the more you spend, the more freebies you get!*

‘Museum shops are a treasure trove of lovely and unusual gifts, cards and treats, but they also have a key role in supporting the work of the museum as a charity. Many of the things we sell are made by local artists and craftspeople, so support their creative businesses too. Buy something unique and support culture at the same time – what’s not to like!’ – Steph Fuller, Director
