Join The Private Press for an informal workshop where you can make an A3 screen print inspired by the artwork of Corita Kent. Using the pre-exposed screens and stencils you will be able to experiment with layering colours and shapes to create and take away your own unique poster.

The Private Press is a modern screen printing studio, passionate about the endless possibilities of creative screen printing, specialising in fine art and graphic art prints for artists and graphic designers. A varied client list includes David Shrigley, Sanna Annukka, Joe Webb, Eelus and Rose Blake, and work printed by the studio has appeared in the Design Museum and Saatchi Gallery.

Alongside printing for clients, The Private Press curate an ongoing series of prints entitled Editions which shines a light on what can be achieved with screen printing using interesting inks, papers and techniques, collaborating with a hand-picked selection of the finest graphic artists.

The studio is managed and run by Gary Parselle, who has more than 10 years of screen printing experience. Before setting up the studio, Gary worked extensively in some of London’s most renowned graphic design and advertising agencies where he specialised in print production, gaining in-depth knowledge of print and paper,  which continues to inform the work of The Private Press.
