Scored in Silence Film Premiere (BSL interpreted)- Tues 6 Aug, 6pm screening

To mark Hiroshima Day on the 6 August, we are delighted to welcome digital dance artist and choreographer Chisato Minamimura to the museum. Alongside offering the museum’s first ever BSL tour (on Sunday 4 Aug) Chisato will premiere the new film of her latest artwork Scored in Silence by filmmaker Harvey Cash in an intimate screening for D/deaf and hearing audiences where you can feel the vibrations of the soundscape.

Scored in Silence employs Woojer vibration straps worn on the body for audience members to feel the haunting soundscape and vibrational composition. Woojers are available to book for D/deaf audience members. Please select a ticket with Woojer included when making your selection.

The film will be followed by a Q&A with Chisato and her lighting designer Jon Armstrong with refreshments.

There will be two presentations of the film in our intimate screening room. Book tickets here for the 6pm screening followed by a Q+A. (You can book for the 7pm screening here.)
