Make an Apron with Dolly Clothing – Saturday 14 September

This course is for complete beginners to sewing. You’ll make this utility apron in linen or denim – it has wide straps, crossing over at the back, fastens with a beautiful vintage button, it’s fully lined and has a large divided patch pocket on the front. You’ll learn how to follow a pattern, cutting out, basic use of the sewing machine, stitching straight and curved seams, attaching a patch pocket and making a buttonhole. A limited number of sewing machines are available but if you have your own or can borrow a friend’s please bring one along.
Diana Uprichard will be teaching this workshop. Diana founded DOLLY in 2012 in Lewes, East Sussex. Sustainability is central to the work Diana’s work at DOLLY.
Cancellations must be received at least 7 working days prior to the event for a refund to be given. Cancellations after this period will not be refunded unless another person is able to take your place.
If the workshop is cancelled we issue a full refund to the people already booked on.
