Feminist Wikipedia Edit-a-thon – Saturday 12 Oct

Saturday 12 October
All day session – no booking required

Wikipedia has become the world’s encyclopedia but did you know less than 10% of its editors are women? Possibly not unconnected to the fact that female artists and makers are not well documented in its pages. We aim to help to put that right by running two sessions with expert Wikipedians.  Come along to our second edit-a-thon and get free training in Wikipedia editing and then work with us and our experts to put information about 20th century craftswomen into the public domain.

Editing support will be provided throughout the day, however we ask participants to be in attendance from the start of the session for the training. Participants are asked to bring their own laptop if possible. Refreshments provided. Live drawings by Molly Fuller Abbott.
