Carol Watts
Carol is Professor of Literature and Poetics, Head of English, University of Sussex. She was appointed Chair in December 2018.

Ros Roscoe
Ros Roscoe MBA is the former Head of Development, Barbican Centre, former Head of Gallery and Shop, Glyndebourne Opera, MBA tutor and Trustee of Berwick (Sussex) Conservation Trust.

Stephen Feeke
Stephen Feeke is a writer and curator. He was previously a Director at the New Art Centre, Roche Court in Wiltshire, where he curated a programme of modern and contemporary art for the Gallery and the sixty-acre Sculpture Park.  Prior to Roche Court, Stephen was Curator of Exhibitions at the Henry Moore Institute, Leeds where he was involved in all aspects of exhibition making and project management.

Robert Griffiths
Robert enjoyed a working career that included management roles in both the commercial and charity sectors. Prior to retirement, he worked for 17  years as Director of Fundraising and Communications at the Martlets Hospice in Hove. Since retirement he has become a Trustee of the Dodgson Trust, the Friends of Brighton and Hove Hospitals and he supports the work of RISE – a charity supporting those affected by or threatened with domestic abuse. He joined the board in 2017 and lives locally in Streat.

Amanda Gray
Amanda is a Partner in Mishcon de Reya LLP, specialising in Art Law and the related field of Luxury Assets. She supports and works with Ditchling Museum of Art + Craft as our Honorary Legal Counsel. Amanda’s clients include both public and private institutions such as galleries, museums, auction houses, artists, private collectors, foundations, and banks.

David Browne
David is a sculptor and printmaker. He previously worked in secondary, further and higher education both as a teacher and director of faculty. David is also a director of Sally Williams Architects and lives in Ditchling.

Kevin Smyth
Kevin is a Solicitor and Civil/Commercial Mediator who has been a member of the Court of Appeal Panel of Mediators since 2003. He is also a member of the Civil Mediation Council and an accredited member of The Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution’s (CEDR’s) Panel of Specialist UK Mediators. In 2015/16 he was President of The Sussex Law Society. In March 2018, Kevin was appointed Under Sheriff for the Bailiwick of Sussex.

Marcus Low
Marcus Low has worked as a private client investment manager since the mid 1990s. His experience has included a broad spectrum of market instruments which enables him to provide the most appropriate service for clients. Currently working as an Investment Director with Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management located in the heart of the City of London and next to the Bank of England.
